Abstract
The angiofibroma is a highly vascular and histologically benign neoplasm that arises in the nasopharynx in adolescent male patients. Extra-nasopharyngeal origin of angiofibroma is very rare. The nasal septum is a very rare site of extranasopharyngeal angiofibroma with only four cases reported in medical literatures. We report a case of extra-nasopharyngeal angiofibroma arising from the nasal septum of a 26-years-old woman. The tumor of nasal septum was approached via lateral alotomy approach, and was successfully removed. Histopathology confirmed it to be a case of angiofibroma. In a 3 months follow up, the patient is free from relapse.
